Our Growers

We are proud of the strong working relationships that we have with farmers, and have huge respect for what they do. We source great quality salads, root crops, berries and more. This allows us to  consistently supply good quality produce to our customers through effective supply chain distribution.

Local fruit and vegetables:

We are fortunate to live in one of the best regions in the country for growing fruit and vegetables which means much of our produce is locally sourced. We can deliver native and local fruit and vegetables within 24 hours of it being picked. To find out what has been picked that day just give us a call.

Lincolnshire

Further north into Lincolnshire you will find our growers for cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, potatoes and other seasonal delights such as curly kale and cavolo nero. We also get some of our herbs from this area.

Cambridgeshire

We also work very closely with seasonal growers around the city and towards the Fens where we source our Celery, Salad heads, Potatoes, Strawberries, Asparagus and Soft fruits; as well as Apples and Pears upon their season.

Bedfordshire

Seasonal lines that are sourced from this area include many of our oriental vegetables like Pak Choi. We also source Chilies, Tomatoes, Cabbage and some other delicious produce from this part of the country.

Herefordshire

Local to the area upon seasons we work with growers on salad lines and niche produce for items such as Wild Garlic and Heirloom Tomatoes.

Across the globe

We work directly with Rungis International market in Paris. It allows us to source the finest produce across Europe from fruit and vegetables to olives, charcuteries and cheeses.

However much we love locally grown there is no getting away from it sometimes the best is native rather than down the road. This means we will go to the ends of the earth (quite literally) to get the best: South American Avocados are unbeatable, South African Oranges, Grapes, and Granny Smith Apples, Kenya has the perfect climate for Mange Tout and Beans. Kiwis aren’t just a namesake – true native kiwis need to come from New Zealand to get that authentic sweet/sour combination. The dry heat and breezes of the Middle East deliver the juiciest peaches and figs.
